Pierre had been dating Zoe for a few years, before he asked her to marry him.

Forever in love, when she said “Yes” he promised her she’d have the perfect Greek wedding she’d always dreamed of, wherever she wanted. She chose the picturesque medieval town of Monemvasia on the Peloponnese.

Zoe had been the Maid of Honour at another wedding we had organised, and that meant two things.

First, having been very much involved in the process, she’d seen the many different aspects of coordination required and the level of detail they demand. And second, having already had first-hand experience of the way we work, she knew she’d have the right Greek wedding planners by her side, every single step along the way.

So while the idea of the former stressed her, the latter served to put her mind at ease. And of course, we didn’t let her down. We found the perfect venue for the couple, and in the process, we got to know almost everyone in town, to guarantee the best accommodation for the guests during the wedding weekend.

We designed a ceremony that was simple and romantic,

with a nice walk around the cosy little alleys of Monemvasia, while we kept the grandeur for the reception. A high-tech stage, with a live band, awesome fireworks, and the most splendid wedding dinner by the pool, left both the wedding couple as well as all their guests with a wedding night they’ll never forget.

As much as Hollywood would have you think the contrary, the truth is there is no standard Greek wedding. It can range from the simplest to the most extreme, and it can be modern or traditional. It can take place all-year round, from the middle of the summer to the cuddly winter days, by the sea or on a remote village in the mountain.

The trick is to partner up with the right Destination Wedding Planners; those who will put you and your dream wedding as their absolute priority.
